This trilingual photo book presents the photographs taken by Bodil Biørn, a Norwegian missionary, humanitarian, nurse, and midwife. She was engaged in humanitarian work in Armenia and Syria, among other places, through the association Kvinnelige Misjonsarbeidere. Photo descriptions written by Biørn and their literal translations in English and Armenian are displayed next to the photos.
The book is published as part of a collaboration between Wikimedia Armenia, Wikimedia Norge and the National Archives of Norway.
